Minimum wage will increase to $15.50/hour as of October 1, 2022.

Immediate Expensing of Eligible Property

The federal government has finally approved a new measure in which assets can be claimed as a full write off instead of depreciating. Examples of eligible property include vehicles and equipment to maximum of $1.5 million.

If you do your own payroll:

  • Be aware that there was a new one-time WSIB credit from 2021 that can be used to reduce 2022 remittances.
